From a working copywriter's perspective, is The Adweek Copywriting Handbook selling dated gimmickry? Or does it share down-to-earth, step-by-step advice that can propel copy across virtually every medium, like the dust jacket suggests? ‘If you don't believe me now, I'll make it worth your time to convince you and change your mind. Let me explain.' (haha)

For real, my summary? It doesn't all fit my personal style, but it's definitely solid – and much more comprehensive than I was expecting. It's worth the read!

Welcome to installment #5 in my mini copywriter book review series. I think this is the last one on my docket for a little bit, unless anyone out there is dying to hear my thoughts on Bly's handbook. I have to admit – I'm getting a little bit bored of reading books that tell me what I already know and am doing every day. (Even worse was the BS that I know for a fact is unhelpful.)
